Physical Description:

Alaniz's style oscillates between the old school tradition of graffiti and cartoon aesthetics. His works are characterised by bright colours and rounded shapes enclosed in large black lines. The cartoon style can be seen in the composition of the flowers as well as in the mountain. On the side of the work, the monogram of the author can be seen, similar to the tradition of graven and prints.

Iconography:

The work represents a mountain surrounded by clouds and budding flowers. Some of the flowers are firmly placed in the mountain, others are carried by the wind. The 'Mountain of Calm' is an allegory about self-reflection, meditation and escape from the hectic stress of everyday life.
