Artist Bio:

Stephen Eric Lee, better known as E.LEE, is a full time artist living in Chicago. His work is an eclectic investigation into symbols of value and paradoxes of western pop culture. E.LEE regularly collaborates with other artists and art forms, creating immersive installations and unique trompe l’oeil public work with humor and narrative. Receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Millkin University in 2002, E.LEE has exhibited his work in Chicago / Paris / NY / Brisbane and created murals throughout the United States and around the world, including: London, Bristol, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Nagoya, and Osaka.

Physical Description:

This is a miniature artwork depicting pink tulips coming out of a classic carved golden frame. The artwork's subject is a reflection on dutch heritage. Vibrant piece created by using stencils and several different colors of spray paint to create the realistic illusion of this piece. The piece is an example of artist's mastery in the creation of functional art.
