SAMA wil culturele participatie bevorderen door mensen met sociaal-economische barrières te betrekken bij toegankelijke creatieve activiteiten, het mentale welzijn en veerkracht te vergroten, gemeenschapsbetrokkenheid te versterken en het immaterieel erfgoed van de Dichtersbuurt te behouden voor de sloop.

De Vrije Bladen - Creation Story

The theme of “De Vrije Bladen" symbolises, in a positive, autobiographical and romantic manner, the diversity of the neighbourhood's residents and their migrant backgrounds.

The participatory part engages the local residents through street art and connects them to the Community Living Lab, with the collaboration of an established international street artist and a Dutch writers, thus enriching the lives of Amsterdam citizens.

Samen met nieuw geworven vrijwilligers willen we een uitgebreider en meer op maat gemaakt sociaal activiteitenprogramma implementeren in de Dichtersbuurt voor de komende jaren (2025-2027), gericht op inspiratie, betrokkenheid en empowerment.

‘De Vrije Bladen van Dichtersbuurt’ een serie workshops en een tentoonstelling met & voor bewoners in de Dichtersbuurt, en omliggende buurten, met een feestelijke openingsbijeenkomst en vernissage. 

Buurttuin

Initiated by students of VrijUniversiteit , the project is a vibrant initiative located in the heart of the Dichtersbuurt neighborhood, designed to bring residents together through the shared experience of gardening and storytelling.

Community Living Lab

Community Living Lab (CLL) in Dichtersbuurt is an inclusive project aimed at fostering stronger relationships among the diverse members of the community, particularly those from predominantly non-Western origins.

Today Seeds, Tomorrow Flowers

Collective Exhibition that brings together artists and artistic collectives, who contribute through art and culture to the to social impact and non-formal education of the diverse towns and communities that make up the social tissue of the region.

Met dit programma beoogt SAMA een reeks boeiende activiteiten te ontwikkelen die geschikt zijn voor diverse leeftijden en verschillende doelgroepen, met als doel inclusieve programmering en actieve betrokkenheid te bevorderen.

Through the carefully designed programming we are connecting disadvantaged neighbourhood to the high end results, using Street Art ethics as a tool to a dialogue with residents from diverse backgrounds.
