EXIT---> EFI & ERRIETI

Dear SAMA,

Street Art Museum Amsterdam, Last Kiss, Nafir

Thank you for the memorable experience I had as an intern in your organization. I am grateful for being a part of your team and I appreciate you took out of you schedule to teach me the history of Street Art movement.

You taught me so many things that went far beyond the theoretical knowledge I gained in university. The tasks I performed during my internship such as tours, kid’s workshops and different kind of artistic events allowed me to apply university learning in a real-world environment and I managed to develop my interpersonal and problem solving skills by interacting with customers (tourists) and other team members.

I want especially to thank Anna Stolyarova, the founder of Street Art Museum Amsterdam for the time she spent to take care of me first in personal level and secondary the time she spent advising me on skills I should develop in the future and giving me constructive criticism on my first attempt at my personal effort to plan and design educational workshops for kids in her museum.

Thank you, again, for making my inter ship a rewarding experience. I hope to keep in touch with you and the rest of the team.

All good things come to an end. I began my internship, as a Master degree student with specialization in Education, Culture and Technology at SAMA in October 2018 and today is the last day of this journey. Working for a cultural organization as SAMA, it is a completely unique experience.

I really appreciated the knowledge that SAMA shared with me generously. It is very honor to work for an organization as SAMA, because it is not only a contemporary and eco-museum but uses the art as a tool to a social dialogue. During my internship, I had the opportunity to improve my communication and organization skills, to deal with demanding situations and find effective solutions, to contribute to productions, such as Bastardilla’s wall and enhance my digital skills.

SAMA helped me to get involved with new experiences, such as the collection management, the guided tours and the preservation plan of the museum, which is the VR and AR. Being part of SAMA’s team, I met artists, colleagues and visitors from all over the world, who teached me something different every time.

Last but not least, I would like to thank Anna Stolyarova, the founder and the Art Director of the museum, who for the very first beginning welcomed me and convey her knowledge about street art, project management, and collection strategy to me. I am really grateful that I

Always in my mind

Best Wishes,

Efi & Errieti
